STUDENT PAGE 1 OF 2: Count, circle, repair

One 4/4 measure in each case needs a repair.

  • Case A - three quarter notes; one beat missing
  • Case B - three quarter notes plus a half note; one beat too many
  • Case C - quarter, paired eighths, quarter, quarter; replace beat 3 with silence

Count first. Circle second. Repair third.
